Rest Stop Rhythms

Rest Stop Rhythms
Any van life adventure requires a bit of rest. Here's a relaxed playlist for when you need to pull over for lunch or a roadside nap. These songs have kept Megan at ease on her solo adventures from Alaska to Canada's west coast. We hope they can keep you humming along at your next rest stop too.

Any van life adventure requires a bit of rest. Here's a playlist for when you need to pull over for lunch or a roadside nap. Just don't overstay your welcome!
@meganclaarke uses an app called iOverlander to find safe, community-reviewed camping spots (many of which are free). Often times the nicest places are a little off the beaten path, so those glamourous mountain view campsites or secluded corners tucked away in the forest are not always an option.
When Megan is putting in the miles to reach a faraway destination or has simply had a long day in the city completing chores, she is more likely to find herself staying in a big-box store parking lot, truck stop, or roadside pullout.
These types of overnight stays will usually welcome you for 8 hours - enough time to recharge, change out of your pajamas and hit the road again. It may not be fancy, but it's all a part of the journey!
