11 countries, 45,000 km and a dream realized: our great van trip through Europe

In 2021, we decided it was time to take our dreams seriously. After longing for a life on the road immersed in nature and a slower pace, we took the plunge and set off in a van to discover Europe.

We left the comfort zone behind and embarked on a road of adventure, the unexpected and wonder. Aboard our house on wheels, we crossed 11 countries, from the warmth of southern Europe to the magic of northern landscapes, passing through art cities, forgotten villages, snow-capped peaks and silent forests.

From the Atlantic Ocean to the Arctic Circle.

We started in Portugal, where the ocean greeted us with fiery sunsets and powerful waves, then passed through Spain and France, lands of good food and living culture. We fell in love with the Alps in Switzerland and Austria, breathed in the timeless atmosphere of Germany, and then pushed further and further north.

In the Great North, the journey took an even deeper turn. We spent 5 months beyond the Arctic Circle, between Norway, Sweden, and Finland, braving extreme temperatures as low as -25 degrees, driving under the Northern Lights, and sleeping surrounded by silent snowy landscapes. Special thanks to Eberspacher for keeping us warm with the heater!

It was a hard, intense time, but also one of the most authentic times in our lives. We learned to live with less, to trust our instincts and to find beauty even in difficulties.

A dream that takes shape (and becomes work)

In addition to personal fulfillment, this trip was also a turning point in our professional journey. For the first time, our van life project was supported by companies that believed in us, in our way of storytelling, and in the values we bring to the journey.

We started collaborating with brands that reflect our lifestyle and with whom we built authentic content creation projects: videos, photos, storytelling to inspire other travelers and tell the world through our eyes.

Every border, a different emotion

Each country we passed through gave us something unique:
- The cliffs overlooking the Ocean in Portugal
- The warmth of the people in Spain,
- The starry nights in France,
- The desert by the sea in Denmark,
- The Northern Lights in magical Lapland,
- The endless silences along the Lake Route in Sweden.

We learned that traveling is not just about “seeing new places,” but it is above all about letting everything you encounter along the way change you.

And today?

Today we look back on that trip with eyes full of gratitude. It was the starting point for many other dreams that are taking shape today. But it will forever remain the first big trip to Europe in our van: an experience that transformed us, an adventure that made us realize that home is not a fixed place, but everything that makes us feel alive.
